Forager Studio is an interior design practice based in Queenstown, New Zealand, specialising in residential interiors, new builds, renovations, bespoke window treatments and furnishings.

Founded by interior designer Jess Blair, Forager Studio brings over two decades of experience to creating thoughtful, enduring interiors that evolve with the people who inhabit them. Our approach celebrates the character of collected objects, the richness of layered textures, and the considered relationship between architecture and interiors.

Each project begins with an understanding of how our clients live, the places they are drawn to and the details that make a home distinctly their own.

Our practice

With more than 20 years of experience across the design industry in New Zealand and overseas, Jess works closely with clients, architects, builders and craftspeople to deliver interiors that are both beautifully resolved and practical to live in.

From early spatial planning and material selections through to custom joinery, lighting, furnishings and the finer details, Forager Studio offers a considered approach to every stage of the design process.

Based in Queenstown, the studio undertakes projects throughout Queenstown, Wānaka, Central Otago and the wider South Island as well as maintaining a strong connection to projects and suppliers in the North Island. We work with local and international clients to create homes that reflect both their setting and their owners.
